Few people have had to relocate as often as young doctors during their education. A new agreement made between Sydvestjysk Hospital (SVS) and A Place To now ensures that students and staff from SVS will be presented with the opportunity to experience Esbjerg from its best side, with an outstanding view from the new A Place To towers. It will be a more contemporary living context, with students from Esbjerg's first medicalgraduate team as neighbors.
A Place To Esbjerg consists of three towers of respectively 66, 40 and 34 meters. All apartments are equipped with their own kitchen, bathroom and a balcony with anoutstanding view overlooking Esbjerg and the nearby surroundings. There will be attractivecommunal facilities, such as a café which offers healthy meals to residents, laundry facilities, as well as a sky-bar at the top of the highest tower.
Part of the hospital's motivation for the agreement is that they are currently preparing for amaster's degree program in medicine to open in Esbjerg from September 2022. The opportunity to study in Esbjerg hopefully leads to more doctors and other SVS students wanting to establish roots in the area after ending their education. When medical students Foto: A Place ToFoto: A Place To are invited to a week of summer school at SVS, they will, among other things, be introduced to A Place To and visit the towers in order to gain a better insight into the areas many offers and the endless advantages of living in one of the BIG-designed A Place To towers.
The first 105 of 431 apartments will be available from February 1st 2021.
