Launch according to plan

To say that we were excited to meet the first residents is an understatement. Luckily everything went according to plan. The sun was shining, and the hand sanitizer was readily available. The newcomers were happy, and the move-in into the furnished apartments was completely hassle-free.
Although a grand opening must wait until the birds chirp and we can all get together again, we couldn't have asked for a better launch day.

Meet Nicolai, resident no. 1

At 9 a.m. Sunday, the very first resident, Nicolai, arrived to get the keys to his brand-new apartment. Nicolai is 25, originally from Varde, and studies Economics.

We asked Nicolai a few questions about his experience and plans.

Why did you choose to move into A Place To?

I'm currently applying for a master's degree in Canada, starting September 2021, so for me, it's perfect that the apartments are fully furnished. It makes everything a lot easier if I get accepted and move to Canada. And when I later found out about the many common areas and the A Place To-community, it was a definite bonus!

Are you happy with your new apartment?

I am. I took the 3D tour of the apartment before moving in, which turned out to be quite an accurate representation, so I'm happy with the apartment. I still have some organizing to do, but it's coming along!

What are you most excited about in the coming months?

Definitely for the common area "Staytion" to be ready – and hopefully for covid to also be under control so that we can take advantage of the space.

We bid a warm welcome to Nicolai and all the other residents at A Place To in Esbjerg.
